1/2cupsemi-sweet chocolate chipsoptional, for extra fudginess
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, honey, and granulated sugar. Stir until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the salt, cocoa powder, and flour. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Optional Additions: Gently fold in the chocolate chips if using.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
