Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C) and roast the bones for 20 minutes to enhance flavor.
  • Blanch Bones: Boil the bones for 10-15 minutes to remove impurities, then rinse.
  • Simmer: Place the roasted bones, vegetables, and seasonings in a 6-quart slow cooker. Add 10 cups of filtered water and simmer for 24 hours.
  • Strain and Store: Strain the broth, let it cool, and store in airtight containers. Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze for 3-6 months.
