  • Optional for homemade crust: melted butter, flour, finely chopped pecans

Filling:

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup melted chocolate
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust:

  • Use a pre-made graham cracker crust or make your own by mixing crushed graham crackers with melted butter.
  • Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Make the Filling:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth.
  • Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  • Melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, and combine with the cream cheese mixture.

Assemble the Pie:

  • Pour the chocolate cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust.
  • Smooth the top with a spatula.

Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight) to set.

Decorate and Serve:

  • Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries for an extra special touch.
