Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

For the Base Smoothie:

  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Optional Additions:

  • ¼ cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • Ice cubes for a frostier texture

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Ingredients

  • Gather all ingredients. Let frozen fruit sit at room temp for 5 minutes for easier blending.
  • If using fresh fruit, add 1 cup of ice.

Step 2: Layer Your Blender Correctly

  • Add milk first, then yogurt, honey, and lemon juice.
  • Add frozen mango and pineapple last to prevent blender jamming.

Step 3: Blend to Perfection

  • Start on low speed for 15-20 seconds.
  • Increase to high speed and blend for 45-60 seconds until smooth.
  • If too thick, add milk one tablespoon at a time.

Step 4: Adjust & Serve

  • Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Dairy-Free? Use almond, oat, or coconut milk & plant-based yogurt.
  • No honey? Swap for maple syrup or date syrup.
  • Want extra creaminess? Add ¼ avocado.
  • For meal prep: Blend, store in a jar, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Shake before drinking.
