- 1 pound pizza dough homemade or store-bought
- 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg for egg wash
- Your choice of toppings pepperoni, sausage, vegetables, etc.
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease the ramekins with olive oil.
Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut circles slightly larger than your ramekins.
Layer Fillings: In each ramekin, layer your toppings, mozzarella cheese, ricotta, and marinara sauce.
Top with Dough: Place a dough circle over each ramekin, pressing the edges to seal. Cut a small vent in the center of each dough top.
Egg Wash: Brush the dough with beaten egg for a golden crust.
Bake: Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, then carefully flip each ramekin onto a plate to serve.
