  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar brown sugar for deeper sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Serving:

  • Maple syrup pure or pancake syrup

Instructions

  • Thaw frozen sausages if needed. Trim the bread crusts and flatten the slices with a rolling pin.

Make the Egg Mixture:

  • Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl.

Assemble the Roll-Ups:

  • Place a sausage link on each flattened bread slice and roll it up, sealing with a small amount of egg mixture if needed.

Soak in Egg Mixture:

  • Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, ensuring it’s coated, but not too soggy.

Cook to Golden Perfection:
