Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked sushi rice seasoned with vinegar
  • 1 nori seaweed sheet
  • 1/4 cup imitation crab meat or real crab
  • 1/2 sliced avocado
  • 1/2 sliced cucumber
  • 2 tbsp spicy mayo
  • Additional toppings: tobiko baked seafood

Instructions
 

Prepare the Rice: Cook the Japanese short-grain rice and season with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let it cool.

    Prepare the Filling: Mix the imitation crab (or real crab) with spicy mayo.

      Assemble the Roll: Lay the nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread the seasoned rice evenly, leaving a 1-inch border.

        Add the Filling: Place the crab mix, avocado, and cucumber in the center.

          Roll the Sushi: Using the bamboo mat, tightly roll the sushi. Seal the edge with a bit of water.

            Add Toppings: Spread spicy mayo on top and add baked seafood.

              Slice and Serve: Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into 6-8 pieces. Serve with wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger

                • Variations: Add jalapenos for a spicy kick or use pickled vegetables for a vegetarian option.
